Kai Genesis will always tell you when a commercial relationship exists with a provider. Our editorial integrity is non-negotiable. Commercial relationships never determine what Kai recommends — only what is genuinely right for you does.
This disclosure is required by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and reflects our own commitment to honesty. It applies to all content on projectkaigenesis.com and all interactions with Kai.
Marvin-affiliated providers
Some providers referenced or featured on Kai Genesis are clients of Marvin AI, our AI concierge service operated under Help Me Marvin. These providers pay a monthly fee to Marvin for business management services including inbound management, booking, and communications.
When a provider is Marvin-affiliated, their coverage on Kai Genesis may be more detailed because we have deeper operational knowledge of their services. This greater depth of information reflects our access to operational data — not a paid editorial placement.
Kai Genesis content about Marvin-affiliated providers will include the following disclosure where applicable:
"[Provider Name] is a Marvin-affiliated provider. Depth of coverage reflects available operational data from our service relationship."
Sponsorships
Kai Genesis may enter into sponsorship relationships with brands whose products or services Daniel Morel has personally used and found genuinely valuable. Sponsorships are only offered to brands that meet our editorial standard.
The sequence is always: Daniel experiences it → Kai documents it → audience trust is established → sponsorship relationship begins. Brands never pay to appear in content before that trust is established.
Sponsored content will be clearly labeled:
"This content was produced in partnership with [Brand Name]. Daniel Morel used this product/service as part of his documented journey."
Daniel's complimentary experiences
Some providers may offer Daniel complimentary or subsidized treatments or services in exchange for documentation and coverage as part of the Kai Genesis project. When this occurs it will be disclosed in the relevant content:
"This experience was provided in partnership with [Provider Name] as part of the Kai Genesis documentation project."
Complimentary experiences do not guarantee positive coverage. Daniel documents his genuine experience. If the experience was not positive, that is what gets documented.
What we never do
- Accept payment to feature a provider Kai would not otherwise recommend
- Remove honest information about a provider due to commercial pressure
- Allow sponsors to review or approve content before publication
- Recommend a Marvin-affiliated provider when a better fit exists elsewhere
- Fabricate Daniel's experiences for commercial benefit
